Soprano and creative Marci Meth has been celebrated for her performances “imbued with charm and elegance” (Classica magazine). Featured as a Rising Star in the BBC Music Magazine August 2020 issue, her performances have been lauded by audiences at the Château de Versailles, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, St. James’s Church Piccadilly, as well as at venues in Paris, Stockholm, Brussels, Tokyo and Osaka.
The creation of The Wild Song – a tribute to composer Benjamin Britten and his relationship with nature – has occupied Marci for the past five years and has led to the founding of her new record label, Modern Poetics. The Wild Song is the first in a series of musical projects Marci is developing for the label with the shared vision of using art to highlight social and environmental issues.
Marci earned her Postgraduate Diploma at the Royal College of Music in London and was awarded the Century Fund Prize for Early Music. She has studied singing with Ryland Davies, Jennifer Smith, Christine Barbaux and Marie-Claude Solanet. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Stanford University.
